12/21 - MVA T-Bone w/entrapment
Rescue Engine 822 arrived to find 1 serious trauma entrapped.
822's crew made quick work of stabilizing patient and performing a door pop.
Additional crews arrived and assisted with packaging and removing patient.
Ambulance 852 and EMS 4 transported pt. to Harnett Co. airport where
UNC aircare was waiting. Pt. was hot loaded and airlifted to UNC.
Ambulance 851 transported 1 minor PI.

11/10 - Major Working Fire, Mutual Aid to Wake County
Units and personnel sent several times over 4 day period to assist Fuquay Varina FD.
Fire was a large hay storage barn in non-hydranted area.
841 shuttled water and personnel assisted with suppression efforts.
More than 50 departments responded from 8 counties with over 300 FF's.
11/10 - Engine 842 moved to Lillington on cover assignment - Responds to possible Commercial Fire.
While all surrounding departments and Eng 841 were assisting Wake County with the major fire,
Eng 842 moved up to the Lillington area to provide coverage for other districts while additional
crews stood by at the station. While in Lillington, 842 responded with Lillington FD to a reported
commercial structure fire at the Family Dollar. It turned out to be a light ballest.

8-10 - Mutual Aid House Fire, 842 responded to assist Erwin FD on a working house fire.
7/14 and 7/28 - Original fire department building being torn down
by current owners.
We conducted several training exercises with the
building prior to demolition.
7/03 - Early morning lightning strikes lead to 2 mutual aid house fire calls (1 working
attic fire) with Lillington FD. Engine 842 on both alarms.
7/01 - Afternoon storms bring multiple calls to Coats FD. 842 responded to assist
and then stood by for coverage at Coats station.

# 2 - Reported commercial structure fire, Bolton Rd. Engine 822 arrived and determined to be a natural gas leak.
Engine 842 and Truck 881 also on scene.

5/05 - Reported House Fire, 1st Due, Keith Hills Subdivision
Engine 821 arrived to find smell of smoke. Source was hot water heater.
E-821 & E-842 handled the call.

3/11 - Mutual Aid to Angier FD, Fire in Salvage Yard, Oak Grove Church Rd
Fire involved woods, numerous vehicles including several busses, and three mobile homes.
Access and water supply were quickly determined to be a factor.
Brush 875 responded for fire attack and manpower, Engine/Tanker 841 responded as a tanker
and shuttled 7 tanks of water, and Truck 881 responded and set up rehab and air bottle refilling.

Fuquay Varina, Forestry Service, and Fire Marshall's Office

for Harris Nuclear Plant Drill.
